Response as not meaningful is an implication that there must be something secret and dark side to hide. Otherwise, why dare not to produce facts and figures. If want to come clean, then produce some proof of arguments. Saying not meaningful is like final judgement that case is closed. This is rather unprofessional, losing respect and trust from the people.
