Stayed in Tokyo in a non tourist district before, walked on the streets in the early morning, full of cigarette butts and rubbish. Shibuya smelt of urine, Japanese men do spray their urine anywhere when they cannot find toilets in the late night.
Some Japanese are very nice people, there are quite nasty ones too like anywhere else.
