TSMC got 40+K or was it 50+K staffs in TW, they sent few K to US to setup new factory in wumao and little pink logic mean US ish killing off Taiwan TSMC by suxing TW talents dry.
Beside the cost of producing chips in US will never match the cost of producing chips in TW, so the US TSMC chips production can never replace the global market of Taiwan TSMC chips production one. What this move mean ish maybe allow the US to become less reliance on Taiwan TSMC nia as they will have their own local production and supply of TSMC standard chips, the differences in cost maybe also offset by more automation plus transport & shipment cost too if the chips are only circulating within US soil.
