Kelian yes, but not for the reason you said. 

They're kelian because they weren't saints in EDMW last time also. They know very well themselves what kind of nasty behaviour they got up to in there last time. 

Now they realise times have changed, tolerance has tightened, they no longer are accepted, so it's their last rage against the dying light.
