It is a ticket to public life in Israel - a green passport. Without a QR code on a smartphone, there is no entry to restaurants, sports facilities, cultural institutions and universities. Initially, this green passport was obtained after the second dose of the vaccine was received. But as of October 3, that passport is invalid.

A new passport can only be obtained if a third dose of the vaccine has been received or if a second dose has been received in the last six months. Otherwise, testing is necessary. This rule does not apply only to children under the age of three.
