Macdonald likely the first co to make use of automation for their operations. Much of their work processes have been streamlined such that machines can actually takeover the entire operations with most if not all people making their own orders and payment via the poc. The orders can go into the kitchen system for the food to be prepared and then orders come out for your own pick up.

Still they will need some skeleton staff....................
