Taiwan is an island just surround them and see how they feed themselves out of hunger. If they grow crops send bombers to bomb the crops prevent it from ripe. No food and water soldiers and civilian soon will surrender. But if they invent growing crops inside caves than cham. Next will be classic strategy poison their fresh water like streams and rivers but then got rain water. So it is not that easy to take Taiwan if they go into defensive mode IMHO.
