This suggestion is brainless moron. Expose the accused name will help the public be wary of this person before he commit similar crime and harm more people, this is to deter crime too. How many of those accused will eventually be acquitted?? The answer is only very few. The large majority are guilty, hence the need to expose their name as a warning to public. We don't want a rapist who rape more people during his bailing because nobody know about it.

For serious crimes person would be in custody until the trial.

However there is of certain criminals like conman ...he may con again before he is convicted. However with social media these days the fuller's name will be release somehow to public by some otter means

I would say depends on  the crime and whether it serves public interest to do so.
