Hong Kong has confirmed no new Covid-19 cases for the fifth time this month, while medical sources say a Saudi Arabian consulate employee’s 13-year-old daughter – in a critical condition after contracting the coronavirus – is showing signs of improvement.

Monday’s zero caseload extends the city’s run without local infections to 49 days.
