Tharman should not be President.

if current govt is corrupted and abused the national reserves, current ruling MP/Minister should not be next President.

if current MP/Minister become next President, President and the govt are from same party, they will continue to abuse the national reserves.
It defeats the purpose of elected President when he is from the current govt.

Parliament should pass law to forbid current MP/Minister to become the next President.
The ex-MP and ex-Minister can become President if he/she is not from current govt.

It is a joke that the next President is from the existing govt.
