Having watched the video, one could tell the vlogger wanted to return back to his home to see his child, before his child goes to school. And he claimed that he had already been to Bali, Maldives and a few other places after he had been working here for the past 2 years.

Not sure when was this dated. But in the past 2 years, in a pandemic economy world as well as the lockdown conditions. Which country did not suffer economy downturn.

He merely said that his family back home told him not to return to China, as the situation is pretty bad. Not forgetting that China has only opened up to outside world in less than 6 months ago.

With just a video from a Chinese guy who worked here in Singapore for only 2 years to judge that the Chinese economy is bad, surely one must be very presumptuous and naive.

And if indeed, like the vlogger had said that he been to those places he claimed to visit. Although he didn’t mention what job he is holding, but judging with him mentioning jobs that does not give overtime is not good basically tells that he work as a blue coller position.

With that the question will be, how is it possible for him to pay his debt back home and still able to visit those tourist places?

Either his debt is not that high and also that his trips to those places were short trips. Not to forget that at some point in the video he is thinking to return to China for good because he has paid off his debts. With that to make a simple judgement that China’s economy is bad that’s kind of contradict in my opinion.

Just to give an example of what I know of without taking any official data to show China’s economy situation here. With the projects my sales team are pursuing, we see that a few major investments were made into China. Just mentioning the German company BASF alone, building a process plant that worth €10 bio. This will hire how many people over the next two years. The other process plant Exxonmobil (US$100 Mio) too is building a plant in China and a few more that I will not list here.

China economy is currently slow but the government is trying their best to bring their economy back post Covid 19. Just like many countries, Singapore included.
