Israel cannot claim right of self-defence, UN official says: The UN Special Rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territory, Francesca Albanese, has rejected the notion that the war in Israel began on October 7 as well as the Jewish state’s right to defend itself against a threat emanating from a territory it occupies.
