The incident occurred in their Pune apartment. 

The couple had a fight because the man did not take his wife to Dubai for her birthday celebration. 

The wife was also upset with him for not giving expensive gifts and not going to Delhi for relatives' birthdays. The man's nose and teeth were broken from the punch, causing heavy bleeding. The wife has been arrested for investigation.
