Israel PM Netanyahu dismisses Hamas demand for ceasefire, orders troops to southern Gaza

1) War cabinet minister Benny Gantz said Israeli forces would expand military operations in the southern Gaza city of Rafah if hostages held by Hamas are not returned by the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

2) Some Palestinians have fled Rafah for central city of Deir al-Balah, but strikes there killed dozens of people over wk-end, a local hospital says. Israel said it struck Hamas targets in the area.

3 and..) Nasser Hospital, which had been the largest functioning medical center in Gaza, is now out of service due to a raid by Israeli forces, the WHO and Hamas-run health ministry said Sunday.

4) The Israeli arrested about 70 health care workers & trapped others in complex without electricity, food or water. The Israeli military claims it has evidence of Hamas operating at Nasser, which the Hamas group denies.
