So you believe Buddha has divine attributes like he can see into the future or that he knew about things nobody else knows. These are divine attributes which are usually ascribed to God.

So, even if you don't say Buddha is God, you treat him like one. 

I met one Buddhist in EDMW who prayed to Buddha, even though he also said Buddha is not god. But when you pray to a being, you give that being the attributes of a god.

Buddha has divine power is his own "problem". I dun care very much for it. Even if he has power does not mean that he's god. He's not the creator of this universe nor can he change our karma.

You've mistaken paying respect for "praying". True Buddhists will know that there's nothing to pray to, since we know that he can't change our karma anyway. So praying is really a wrong word to use, if it means that I must either thank him for everything, or ask him for favour.
