China never bothered about the trade tariffs because the tariff is 90% paid by US importers and only 10% by China's exporters.   

Finally US consumers paid for it and US is in deep shyt on inflation when all prices went up. It is punitive on US consumers.

Exactly …. in the end it's the consumers that will pay these taxes
