Yes. Unless one is copying or processing large files, it is not worth paying the premium to get an NVMe SSD drive. Most of our day-to-day work deals with small files. NVMe SSD has no obvious speed advantages just like one will not be able to go any faster when driving a car that stops and runs frequently in a 200 km/hr expressway. But present days, a lot of fake SATA SSDs also that come with only SD cards inside them.
