as less dependent Us trade deficit may even wider

This means that either US has increased its consumption or they are getting more expensive goods from other countries. The trade deficit with China has dropped to USD279 billion in 2023,  the lowest in the last 10 years.



Much of the goods imported by China are agricultural products as China has 1.4 billion mouths to feed
