The world does not want a repeat of the tragic events of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games where a terrorist attack by the Palestinians resulted in 8 Israeli athletes murdered. The vulnerability of international events to terrorism is apparent for all to see. The Israelis have obviously had enough of the Palestinians after the 7 Oct invasion by Hamas.
