China exports mainly manufactured goods. What else?  Manpower?  Services?

Plenty of other things. They could contribute in areas of tech, where they help other countries level up. For example, there's an agreement (or work) between Spore and China on driverless taxis just very recently, and also when they build trains and power plants for other countries. 

The number of submitted tech papers in journals and patents, and participation in standards, such as 5G and 6G, from China is also amazingly high.
