Any war will likely be fought on economics,  not on the ground anymore.

Anyway, this is for Russia n Ukraine to settle. Ukraine is not a NATO member.

Long ago (actually maybe less than 200 years.. lol) the warfare is simple. Poor gang up and rob the rich. Today in civilized world, the rich rob the poor of everything but hides behind laws and power. But the basic survivor rule is still largely the same. As long as you can overpower and win, you write history.

At times it may seem that a physical war is easier and less painful than an economical one. A physical war means life and death. An economical one means enslavement that goes on for generations...

Ego... Pride... Greed... Envy... Jealousy...
