After a new CEO came onboard, my secondary school classmate started getting excluded from meetings, social events and key projects etc. The new boss appeared to be isolating him. It was designed to make my friend feel undervalued and unwanted. He fears that as he is approaching his mid-50s, it would be almost impossible for him to find another management position if he gets laid off soon.
