A rogue leader like trump is most suitable to handle rogue nations. Cannot be soft to such rogue nation like Russia and even Myanmar or North Korea.

Brics are not the countries ti worry about because many brics countries like Malaysia and Brazil need US dollars to pay for their debts. For the next 40yrs USD will be dominant in debt repaynent.

The USA itself is the biggest threat to the US$ not the brics.

The US fianances are shaky and should its economy weaken there will be a "flight" out of US$ assets and this is what ends US$ dominance.

do not think people will not use usd totally. rather it is now a mix of currency.
between nations their own currency. exrate some how will still reference back to usd.

but the demand for usd will go down as a percentage of trade.
this is only natural like the sun raise and sun set.

1) Put in a USD account?
2) Go to Money Changer to change to SGD?
3) Deposit to SGD account?

One small amount stuck in Canada

1) Transferring to SGD account costs a lot because I am outside of Canada or the USA.
2) USD cheque.. cheaper.

BRICS does not intend to replace the dollar because doing so means BRICS would first have to create a new reserve currency to replace the dollar

But BRICS does not intend to replace one currency that is weaponized to cause so much oppression & suffering in the world with another.

What BRICS hope to achieve is a world where nations can freely trade with one another without the threat posed by a hegemonic world reserve currency.
