We need to remove the scholarship system in this country in order to move ahead.

The rich shd not be allowed to apply for local scholarship. They have more resources to get what they want.
It shd only allow for Low and middle income.

Those low income families students can apply for both scholarships and bursaries. In my neighbourhood, there is a couple who choose not to take up any low paying job, asked her daughter to apply for financial assistance from the university. Her studies and living expenses are fully paid for by nus.
