here in singapore border. you go shop and make their thing expensive they make you pay more.
now cannot change vehicle number plate to escape fine.
best don;t go there. keep the spending in singapore to support local retail and malls.

For the Malaysian and Ex Malaysian earning in Singapore. It is still peanuts for their income. RM20 is nothing to them la.. 🤣
They saved the family expenditures in JB. Even petrol is much cheaper.

According to ASEAN agreement, all countries should be treated equally. You cannot charge one country differently from another country when visiting that country. In other words, you cannot charge Singaporean one price and Thai free of charge.

many are doing private hire using socila media. lta has rule to control singapore legal users but no enforce on foreigner car doing business here.

those malaysia car doing private hire in singapore has broken many singapore rule.

1. work in singapore as driver without a work permit. mom is responsible but no action taken to capture these.
2. driving a foreign car in singapore for private hire without a private hire car sticker. lta responsible for enforcement.
3. driving a car for commercial purpose carry passenger without insurance. no know who responsible.
also those lorry van that has tools loaded.
4. those are used by trades man in their trade in singapore. can easily see their long stairs mounted on the vehicle.
though those foreigners with work permit is not suppose to drive foreign vehicle in singapore. see so many of them on the road. if no work permit on social visit pass why need to carry working tool?
all these increased the demand on the road of singapore doing business in singapore.

if singapore a country with rule but no enforcement. foreigners take as for granted. and when problem become too common it may be difficult to stop.
