He had been on the way to pick up his daughter from work.

The prosecution asked for 2 - 4 months’ jail and 8-year driving ban even though the victim was jaywalking. While I agree that drivers have the duty of care to keep an eye out for other road users even when the traffic lights are in their favour, sometimes it is extremely difficult to react when the jaywalker suddenly appears seconds before impact.

Why is the driver fault? The boy boy jaywalk … its his action that caused his own death … the driver is just an unlucky victim.

Will Amy KKhor attend the wake of the victim to say Sorry?

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

This sentence will embolden scammers to run in front of cars travelling at low speed along minor roads and carparks in order to claim monetary compensation in future.

What kind of bird talk is this?

“After taking into account that the teenager had been jaywalking, Deputy Public Prosecutor Yeow Xuan sought two to four months’ jail for Tan, as well as an eight-year driving disqualification.

She noted that motorists should be on the lookout for pedestrians and other road users, even when the traffic light signals are in their favour.”

More like Yeow Siew. Now everyone and anyone can just run out the road.
