Know of one doctor family, brought their children with them to do voluntary work in Africa for 10+ yrs. They claimed their children had learned a lot. But I feel a bit sorry for them.

The two Singaporeans reported missing in the aftermath of the 7.4-magnitude earthquake in Hualien were reportedly on a sightseeing trip that fateful morning.
Neo Siew Choo and Sim Hwee Kok, both in their 40s, had boarded a tourist shuttle bus at 6.30am on Wednesday (April 3), reported 8world.
Neo and Sim are both Singaporeans with Australian passports.

be grateful
singapur really allows sinkies holding on to other nation passport?
or only selected few?
are you part of the selected few?
or meant for current newly converted new citizen?
doesnt apply to typical sinkies?

It is very difficult to cover the various sights at Hualian using the bus because the schedule is infrequent and very inconvenient. So it is recommended to hire a taxi for a day to cover all the sights.
Likely the couple go down one of the stops, then earth quake struck. They could be stuck in some area of the park off the standard track to wait some where....the place is massive.
There are many possibilities other than death or injury.....so hope they are okay.

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..
