Prices have gone up more and more each year.
People are  coping by buying more ulu places far away from
high price  places.

But what really happened is this.
Many give up and don't even get married so they don't need a home...that is how it is solved. 
Growing % of Singaporeans do not get married.

I think most will rarher remain single ...than to get married and squeeze family into a tiny flat.
