Killed by a bicycle? If no witness, then how one knows it’s a collision with a bicycle?

Case in point : Cyclist/PMD MUST buy insurance and must be fine or penalized (Jail) if they are reckless. They speeding like crazy on pavements these days. Imagine the huge PMD going at high speed along narrow walkways?

Otherwise they have no liabilities. Hope the authorities dont sit on this for too long before more lives are lost.

PMDs are as good as pban.  They are two-wheelers which GRAB riders used to use.  To use one, you need to first learn how to balance on a bicycle.

What you see nowadays are PMAs which have two wheels behind and either one or two wheels in front.  These don't need balancing skills.  And a lot of people using them can actually walk.  They use it because they are too lazy to walk and also because they are faster than even running.

Maybe some passerby saw him on the floor.  They also saw the cyclist who ran (cycled) away.  But they did not see how it happened. A CCTV footage would show how it happened, and whose fault it was.

Must be racing bike. Hard to brake as it has less contact with less friction. Yesterday saw a racing bike with 2 locks but with flat tyres near a bus stop.  Feel like using the cutter to cut off the chains.

Must be hit by an electric powered bicycle at high speed. The man is quite stout though at 71 yrs.

I'm more concern on any blind spots between pedestrians and bicycles.
