There must be a simple validation involved before you recognise who you are dealing who....

These are all just excuses to put down Christianity. Who asked you to concern yourself with the beliefs of1000 denominations. Just start from the 4 gospels in NT. Forget dogma etc.  Read it yourself, like a story book. My advice is get the hardcopy, even the children's version with illustrations. I think you've posted before that you splurged on many books for your kids [good father] so just do yourself a favour this time round. Reading a story with illustrations leaves a more vivid impression. And reading a book is 100 fold better than reading words from the internet.
