Creativity Thread is all about being creative, pictorially.
all pictures that you post on this thread MUST be an original piece taken by yourselves. Always say something about your shot - location, mood & temperament, type of camera and lens, focal length, lighting condition, ISO & shutter speed, adjustments et cetera, et cetera.
if you had "borrowed" a picture from somewhere, it is only polite (and right) to give credit to your source.

traditionally, the thread starter of "All about Creativity" will pop the cherry with a picture. this time is no different.

also found on the Creativity thread is a weekly/fortnightly contest aptly named "Creativity Catch Phrase" where Creativity Folks (Questors) are challenged by Le Quiz Master, in a quiz sometimes colluded with a labyrinth of brain-twisting, many times lateral joining of synapses; to derive an answer that needs to link ALL three components of
a) Quiz synopsis;
b) Phrase Hint; and
c) Picture Hint.

the previous run of Catch Phrase contest on sgtalk.org was marred by Questor spewing multiple answers nonchalantly like diarrhoea, and a profound knack of parasitic answers photocopy.
hence, this is an opportune moment to mention the ground rules once again:
1. one attempt at a time. you may submit a new answer only when le Quiz Master reopens for a second/third round of alternative answers. you may, of course, stick to your original answer even if le QM reopens the quiz for alternative answers. (Edited: 29 july 2021)
2. you may follow another Questor's answer. however, you must
a) give credit to the original Questor; and
b) provide reasoning why you thought it was correct.
3. the latest answer that you submit will be the final answer to be taken into consideration.
4. the game is to stretch the mind, mentality, thinking, strategy and creativity. gaining a point is just a bonus of getting it right.
5. date-time stamp of an answer is important - at any time, you shall not dishonestly edit an earlier attempt.
6. at the end of each round,
a) le QM will award points to those Questors who have derived the right answer;
b) the first Questor with the correct answer will be accorded a golden box on the scorecard;
c) all Questors awarded a point will reciprocate a point to le QM as "mutual respect"; and
d) Questors who failed to derive the correct answer may award le QM a point as quiz appreciation.
7. 2 series of contests will be run per calendar year. at the end of each series YYYY-H1 & YYYY-H2, le QM will publish a scorecard detailing all points scored.
8. a picture taken by le QM will be posted, dedicated to winners of each series -
a) highest points; and
b) most golden boxes.

after some afterthought, #1 below supersedes the original rule #1
1. Questors are allowed up to three (3) attempts on each Catch Phrase quiz question. le Quiz Master my reopen for an undertermined subsequent additional rounds of alternative answers. you may, of course, stick to your original answer even if le QM reopens the quiz for alternative answers. the last attempt will be your final answer.

ADDENDUM:
Folks, unlike the original MasterMind game https://youtu.be/dMHxyulGrEk, where the Codemaker uses red/white pegs, le Quiz Master uses black/white indicators.
in the original MasterMind game, the Codemaker's red/white peg positions do not correspond to the code's position on the board. however, le QM is a lot more lenient, flexible, and lateral - the position of any black/white indicator corresponds directly to the position of the word in the phrase. (this way, le QM has the flexibility to apply the principle across an unlimited number of worded quiz-phrase. Cool

consequently, "blank - white - black" indicates a 3-worded Catch Phrase where the 1st word in the Questor's current attempt is not found in the phrase; 2nd word is found somewhere in the phrase; and the 3rd word is both correct and in the correct position.
e.g. say "in your head" was the Catch Phrase.
your attempt of "your stupid head" will be indicated "white - blank - black"

ADDENDUM:
9. le Quiz Master will, with best efforts, provide as many Quiz Hints as possible in the effort to steer Questors to the direction of the "Correct Answer". however, in the most remote of remote chance that no Questor was able to derive said "Correct Answer" when the Contest ends, despite the repertoire of Hints provided by le QM, ALL Questors will award le QM a point each à la "House Wins"
