It is strange to read that the driver and 3 of his car passengers were arrested for driving offences. It is unbelievable that 4 reckless drivers were found together in 1 car. Did the accident occur because all 4 of them tried to take the steering wheel while they were drunk? LOL!

Because the 3 passengers are aware of the driving offences yet they did not stop the driver.

"A 26-year-old male car driver was arrested for failing to provide (a) breath specimen .......... Another man in the car, aged 22, was arrested for traffic-related offences along with the other two passengers". The report seems vague whether these "traffic-related offences" have to do with this particular accident, or were committed by them earlier in separate cases.
