First appt to meet dental specialist damn long, may be more than 6 months. After that subsequent appt got to wait for 1 month time.
I recommend crowning, veneer is applicable for front teeth. Check with your dental specialist, doing dental veneer or crowning.
Make sure you dont have rotten teeth, need to go for extraction.
