It's hidden in many foods and drinks. Must cut down on 3-in-1 coffee and tea, the creamers are very bad

Transfat stays inside your blood vessels until blocking the blood flowing through causing a stroke in the old age

Must also avoid fried food as much as possible. The high temperature (beyond the smoking point) during frying will turn the Omega 6 in the cooking oil (highest in vegetable and seed oils) into trans fat.
Worst will be food that are fried in reused cooking oil - eg fried chicken, goreng pisangs, curry puffs...

Formation of trans fats during food preparation
Quote:Potatoes were fried in palm, rapeseed, soybean, sunflower and extra virgin olive oils at 180 °C for 5 min, and samples were collected from fresh oils and after 1, 5 and 10 consecutive heating sequences. Regardless of the type of oil, the highest linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid values were measured in the fresh samples, whereas significantly lower values were detected in almost all samples following the heating sequences. In contrast, the lowest levels of TFAs (trans fatty acids) were detected in the fresh oils, while their values significantly increased in almost all samples during heating.
