There 10 countries in ASEAN. 9 of them disagreed with Singapore because of its arrogance.

EU is doomed, it has no army to defend itself and heavily relies on the U.S. EU’s salary level is lower than many countries in Asia, much lower than Spore….very soon EU will be like 3rd world countries.

Very soon, the whole Europe will be flooded with refugees!

Assmerica will just sit back and have a good laugh at stupidity of leaders of  European countries.

Not really.

In terms of dealing with Russia, ASEAN is very united - with the exception of Singapore, the remaining 9 countries have all adopted a neutral stance.

On matters pertaining to US, all ASEAN countries have a relatively cordial but somewhat distant relationship with the exception of Singapore and perhaps Philippines (50% chance depending on who is President)

On China, all ASEAN countries have accepted that it is the most influential external country in its affairs (confirmed by a study by Yusof-Ishak Institute polling ASEAN ruling elites and intellectuals). Vietnam and Philippines know they have no choice but to work with China, but due to historical reasons and overlapping border claims occasionally make use of US to pressure China to make a better offer.

Singapore occasionally has tendency to get ahead of itself, but nothing a gentle panda slap cannot fix and bring it back in line. The remaining 7 countries are all on friendly relations with China and importantly all 10 countries want to hop onto the economic gravy train to get rich.

Obviously, with the constant publicity by their mouthpiece on being no.1 in everything they do and have.
Chiding other countries in parliament to gain political mileage is not uncommon
