也祝妳,萬事大吉,身體健康,天天開心。

Yes planned to burn some fire crackers on the roof top of our apartment, to bring back the good old childhood days before Singapore had banned them. Also planning to visits those popular temples around Taipei too, hopefully they don’t lockdown due to the recent increase of COVID case here.🤣

I like Taiwan too. Especially those wc that wash your backside and those breakfast spreads, and Carrefour Big Grin

Frankly those toilet bowl with bidet functions are available in Singapore too. But back home we don't quite use them, I think. In Korea, Japan and Taiwan this device is very common in everyone's home.

The breakfast here are indeed very nice, but unfortunately the inflation has hit most of the stores here. Resulted the price has risen quite significantly for the locals, for us I think it is still bearable. Many eatery shops or stores has closed down, couple with the rise in infection rates. I like their Uber Eats service, they are efficient and good. First time using such services, back home I have use any before.

As for mega mart Carrefour, I preferred their Taiwanese local brand RT Mart (大潤發). I typically will shop there around twice per week.

Maybe that's why the Brits are always a bit wonky in the head. Those refusing to wear mask or going on pub crawls during Covid...more likely than not a Brit is involved.
