Brazil: We can survive without the United States.
#1

The United States is currently Brazil's second largest export market, second only to China. According to Reuters, after Trump announced a 50% tariff, Lula also said he would look for new buyers outside the United States, claiming that "we can survive without the United States."

Trump changes his words again. On the 11th, Trump said he was willing to negotiate with Brazilian President Lula, but "it should be at some point, not now."

Economy Minister Guilherme Mello said even if Brazil's economic growth would be affected "somewhat", it would not be as significant as before because Brazil has successfully diversified its trading partners over the past 20 years.
