India is celebrating its first National Space Day to mark the one-year anniversary of the historic Chandrayaan-3 mission. Chandrayaan-3 made a soft landing on the moon's south pole last year. And now, the Indian Space Research Organisation has its sights set on the Gaganyaan mission. The crewed Gaganyaan flight is scheduled for 2025. But that is not the end of the road. India's space economy stands at about $8 billion but the goal is to reach $44 billion by 2033. Can India do this? India's space sector has been growing at about 4% a year.
