There are a total of 152 ChiangKaiShek's Statue in Taiwan's Army camp. There is also a Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. No wonder they wanted to remove some of them.

Kept in army camp is out of bound for public viewing.

It is as good as not for viewing.

When the army is in PPP control, they will be all removed.

Statues hv no use, can be pulled down and removed easily. Some are even kept for ppl to piss at. Memorial halls are much better, not easy to remove

That’s some countries are planning to do. Even naming of places and train stations are better

Because Chiang ish a dictator mah, dictator tend to favor dictator mah.

Beside chiang believe dip dip that AT land ish part of Taiwan, so CCP can use same to argue that Taiwan then also part of AT land too.

But modern and younger generations of Taiwan do not believe AT land ish part of Taiwan, let alone Taiwan being part of AT land. And most Taiwanese see Chiang as dictator whom bring hardship and tyranny to Taiwan, and also the main culprit who cause Taiwan to be kick out of UN and abandon by the world, else Taiwan may be able to retain it's seat in UN and gain independence long ago if Chiang ish willing give up his claim that AT land ish part of Taiwan and acknowledge CCP being the legit ruler of AT land. Thus except those die hard KMT supporters not many Taiwanese like him.

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.
