Are the wives legally answerable?
Why are the husbands complicit?
Marriage is just a contract
If the wife commits murder, the husband cannot be tried in court and get hanged for it
Though under the woman's charter, if the wife owes money and cannot pay the debt, the husband is legally responsible to pay for it, in that the creditor(s) can go after the husband
