The railway only allows ticket purchases three days in advance and online sales are not currently available. This has resulted in extremely long lines at ticket offices and express trains often sell out the day ticket sales open.

OVERVIEW
Dear all customers,

Due to a road accident involving our train ticket director, we are temporarily unable to accept any new reservations for train tickets from now on until further notice.

NOTE: For previous bookings, all tickets have already been purchased and our team will still proceed normally.

Demand should be very high as Laos also introduced a "slower" green-skin train that runs at 120km/h.
And this will be the only means for those whose luggage exceeds the 20kg weight limit for the faster HSR train.
