That was why I was hoping for better economic results from China but it has been disappointing.

The US side does not look good but the central bank and leadership has a much better handle on things given what they learn in 2009. Investor confidence is still relatively high for US.

I already said I may need to cut on the HSI trade but was watching the 17K level.

Alot of stupid China fanboys accuse me of wanting to see gloom and doom in China but I am looking at data objectively to be able to trade accordingly.  If anything i was hoping things in China improve but the policy has been very far behind the problems emerging that is why they are likely to disappoint and miss GDP growth targets.

The poor econokic performance of China shows up in the numbers released by the China govt itself and there is concensus among mainland economists and those outside that problems are becoming worse and more has to be done.

One of the major problems I see is Chinais dependence on Western markets for its exports the only saving grace of its economy  But geopolitical it has taken an anti western stances supporting Russia, supporting Iran, supporting  N.Korea under Xi it is blatant and stirring up issues in South Chuna Seas. 

All this provokes  the West's to reduce imports from China  and look for ways weaken China economically as they now see China as a threat under Xi. Under previous leaders the relationship with the west was far better and trade help China to grow. 

China now heads in the opposite direction under Xi.

Don’t think anyone accuse u when u post news article la. It’s when u make predictions that sounded so confident and turn out wrong frequently. LNo one is perfect. Keep improving on yr probabilities.
