I dont think it is China threatening Australia.
Aussie had been sending warships to SCS, Yellow Sea along China's border countless times.
Is that not Australia threatening China?
China only did ONCE to Darwin as a retaliation.

This one is on Australia. Been following this.
In Chinese, what Australia is doing is called "picking peach". After China made the port successful and profitable, they want to break the contract and take it back.

The U.S. is behind all these pressurising Australia to get back Port of Darwin from China due to strategic importance.

Australia signed an agreement with China to lease the port for 99 years and now wants it back, it has to pay compensation for breaking the contract.

99-year lease!
Now only about 10 years. Still got 89 years left.
It's like buying 99-year leasehold property kena forced to sell at unfavourable price after 10 years!
Like that who dares to buy anything in Aussie Pussy?

China should stop buying beef, barley, wine, seafood and minerals from Australia and buy from Brazil and Argentina

It must be known tt ever since Trump becomes President in 2016, the political landscape has changed. China is no longer seen as a friendly or neutral nation to both the US and Australia. This Darwin port was leased in 2015. Then it was security cleared but political landscapes r much different now

Australia is a sovereign nation, it can make deals on its own. The Chinese company that leases the port has spent tens of millions for rebuilding the port and infrastructure, and most importantly it pays A$1.4 billion tax to Australian government every year.
