Assuming that the NT was translated correctly, it means that the translator chose the most suitable word. In this case "us" is the word.

And according to the English dictionary there are two definitions for that word, each differs by a lot.

The first meaning refers to many entities while the second refers to one entity.

The question now is perhaps the translator was referring to the second definition? That is why Bro Ali asked why there isn't any mention of trinity on the OT.

I've said it before. The absence of the original scripture is the problem. If it was around, we can easily verify who this "us" is referring to.
