Do you want to live in Perth?
#61

I still prefer Melbourne as it has a mixture of hundreds of different cultures in one city which you can’t find in Perth. There is Chinatown in CBD, Chinatown in Box Hill and
Glen Waverly,  Vietnamese town in Footscray with the best beef Pho even Vietnamese tourists said much better than the one back home in HCMC, Vietnamese street along Victoria Street in Richmond and Vietnamese Town in Springvale. There is Greek street in CBD where you can eat Greek food in authentic Greek Restaurants at back of Chinatown in the city. There is Lygon Street to the north of city where you can eat Pizza, Pasta and other Italian cuisine. There’re Hungarian Restaurants along Swan Street in Richmond. There are more and more Indian restaurants opening up in King St in the city. There are a number of Somalian cafes in Footscray set up by refugees. There are also many Turkish restaurants in different parts of Melbourne. There’s a Jewish neighbourhood near St Kilda called Balaclava.

There’s complex tram network in Melbourne with more than a dozen routines, which you cam’t find in other major cities downunder.

Your friend should be well built, in order to be a bouncer in a club, cos the Aussies are big sized people .... Laughing

Yes he was very big sized and looked rather mean when he wasn’t smiling. But very pleasant and nice. He protected us from those racists and we helped him with his skool work Laughing

My cousin live in Melbourne. He worked as a postman but live in a bungalow on a hill top in a good estate. His house got a button that when pressed will vacuum dust into a compartment that is underground.

Look at this video. There is hardly any rubbish on the roads in Perth. In contrast with Singapore, lots of rubbish on the road even though those sweeper and cleaning vehicle pass by doing cleaning, there are many obvious rubbish left behind. The nea not proactive in ensuring although it is their job.

It is still a kampong like ages ago. Closed up economy and goods and service expensive.

If you order things from lazada and taobao need to pay ridiculous tax?

I found Perth is quite modern and well developed city with great infrastructure. Maybe last time was different. I have visited Adelaide before, it was very ulu place, only has one small mall in the city centre, Perth is along the coast, so much better.

Melbourne is a melting pot of all different cultures while Perth is isolated and people have inward looking mindset, people tend to be judgemental to other races and cultures.
