Trend lines, support and resistance levels, or any technical indicators can be invaluable tools if you know when and how to use them, and what they are trying to measure. The fact is, most people don’t understand so when they lose money, you know what happen next. These people are unlearned.

Expecting that an indicator is going to make people earn big bucks is dumb. The tool itself doesn’t fix the car, it is the mechanic knowing how to use the tools correctly that get the job done.

Actually technical charting can be quite a nice hobby. Draw some colorful lines and show them in forums, test out some technical indicators to impress your followers, or devise yr own super indicators, code them into programs, backtest them using machine learning, see how much money can be made. Not bad right?
