Thought Patriot is for defense and not for attack.  Maximum height for effect denotation of hydrogen bomb is around 30km or 100,000 ft.  Other bombs must be much lower to be effective.

the highest altitude (apogee) reached during free-flight is about 2,000 kilometers (1,200 mi).  Something must be very wrong with DF if can only reach a height of 110 km    Maybe just during the drill
