One of the Fujian guy has surname Wang.
If he is a relation of the Ms Wang, one of the masterminds behind Myanmar-based scammers, it could be becos Wang Yi's team had brought up this issue during his recent trip.

The Fujian Ms Wang was arrested by the Chinese authority last month.

Quote:The group of foreign nationals are allegedly involved in laundering the proceeds of crime from their organised crime activities overseas, linked to scams and online gambling.

Actually this money laundering method also quite similar to 1MDB Jho Low wat.
lots of locals helping their overlords to launder.
wash thru properties, companies bought and sold, luxury watches, cars, paintings.
