"Some of these demands were to:

Give the Muslim community the right to vote for their Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs

Make the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) an independent body

Ensure the MUIS council is composed of ulama from PERGAS, an association for Asatizah in Singapore, and qualified Muslim professionals

Have the MUIS Council elect the Mufti and President of MUIS

Create spaces within mosques and madrasahs for Islamic perspectives to contribute to national discourse and development

Have MHA and the Religious Rehabilitation Group handle radicalisation by acknowledging and addressing the "real cause of political grievances of Muslims globally"

Recognise the state of Palestine and sever ties with Israel

End "race-based demographic engineering"

Put in place legal reforms that uphold the "sanctity of marriage and family life", including possibly criminalising adultery

Protect the family institution from "ideologies that undermine it ... particularly LGBTQ advocacy and radical feminist enculturation"

Abolish the Internal Security Act"

This is extremely dangerous 😳
WP should sound the alarm when they received his teaching.

OMG..😱

Singapore is facing the most threatening condition from such ideology demand in our society. Why this person is not exposed earlier 😐

His should do it now, before voters go to balloting box.
Be transparent about it, and condemn such demand and teaching in RALLY!!!

His candidates should do it too, especially in Tampines. Their names were listed in news.

Singaporean demand a very high standard from our lawmakers ethics and honesty.
Our parliament is not a place for games.
WP must understand this basic.

For votes and power..
Common dangerous game in many countries.

But a first in Singapore for many years.
Today's generation probably is not aware of the toxicity of such strategy 🙄.

Once started, hard to stop or reverse. It will grow by itself into a destructive norm in a country.

Look at UK, Middle East, Isreal, Neighbouring countries and even in US.
Reached a point of no return. 😎

Politics and religion must not be mixed. Nip it in the bud before it take root.

Best case scenario is all opposition parties except workers party, gain vote share percentage and PSP and SDP both won seats and Workers Party lose Aljunied GRC and retain Sengkang GRC and Hougang SMC. That Punggol GRC should not be won by WP too. Because last night someone said that female candidate says she love Taiwan as well in her rally speech. How can she say she love Taiwan in a Singapore election rally speech?

My view is that it is not good for the opposition cause if Pritam remain as the Leader of Opposition.

If I am not mistaken, throughout all these years, Pritam has never criticised the CECA policy before.

If Pritam remain the leader of the largest elected opposition party, then it gave a false sense of thinking to Singaporean opposition supporters that our opposition voices are already adequately represented by Workers Party and there is no need to must vote other opposition parties anymore. But Very important issue such as CECA is not mentioned by Pritam in Parliament.

If Pritam lose Aljunied GRC and is no longer the LOTO, then opposition supporters will feel surely must vote in some PSP people and some SDP people to represent our opposition voices.

Some other examples of arrogance displayed by Workers Party under Pritam is during the GE 2020, WP did not send a candidate to participate in the TV mandarin debate. And now WP never inform other opposition parties in advance that WP don't want to contest Marine Parade GRC, causing a wasted walkover and deprived the voters in MP to vote. Other opposition parties did not contest MP is because they thought WP sure will contest MP.

Hence best case scenario is for these 3 things to happen together, Both PSP/SDP won seats and Workers Party lose Aljunied GRC and the vote percentage share of PAP falls to between 58% to 60%
