Greatest entrepreneur of his era.
The day he step onto the London commodities sugar market was the mark of a spectacular beginning.

His book is worth a read....you can read again because it holds so many lessons

An inspiring rags to riches story. The only regret so far is his succession planning seems to be going nowhere, if not managed carefully might end up yet another slug fest after his passing.

Elder son - Beau has the lineage as the eldest, but capabilities wise average
2nd Son - Ean is a commercial disaster and ill-suited to run a business
Daughter - Hui quite capable, but not sure whether her being female will dampen her chances
Daughter - Yen too young and seems more interested in being a socialite
Son - Hua quite capable, said to be elder Kuok's favorite, but not sure whether young age and low sibling ranking will dampen chances
Nephew - Khoon Hong obviously the most capable and a famous businessman of his own, but him being of a different Kuok lineage will undoubtedly be a major hinderance
